ST. LOUIS, MO. (June 18, 2019) – Thanks to a generous gift from the Frank Leta Automotive Family, families in need throughout the St. Louis region can better access critical social services provided by Midtown Community Services. This June, Frank Leta Acura and Frank Leta Honda donated a 2015 12-passenger transport van to Midtown to help the agency bring clients of all ages to and from its on-site programming.

This new van will be used across Midtown’s service offerings, including its Family PRIDE healthy baby program, afterschool programming for at-risk children ages five through 18, and its Summer Academy Day Camp, which kicks off its 30th season starting June 17.

Said Laura Lamb, executive director of Midtown, “So many of the families we serve are limited by transportation constraints. Our goal with this gift is to connect our neighbors to the Midtown programs they need, wherever they live in the region. Because of the Frank Leta Auto Group’s continued support of St. Louis nonprofits, we have the opportunity to serve even more families and individuals this year.”

“We created the Frank Leta Charitable Foundation to support causes exactly like Midtown Community Services,” said Steve Brown, operations manager. “Midtown provides so many great services to those in need within the St. Louis metro area, and we are thrilled that our donation of a vehicle will allow them to multiply their efforts.  We are honored to play even a small role in their worthy mission to assist low-income families within our community."
