Youth Development Programming

The mission of Midtown Youth Development programs is to provide children & teenagers with a safe environment that promotes healthy growth and development.

Youth K-5th

               Monday - Friday
                     4-5:30pm

 

  • Specifically designed for youth in kindergarten to fifth grade.
     

  • Activities includes, but not limited to:

    • Academic Tutoring

    • Science 

    • Cooking and Food Science

    • Dramatic/ Imaginative Play Experiences

    • Physical Fitness

    • Arts & Crafts

    • Gardening
       

  • Dinner and snacks are provided four days a week.

Midtown Juniors

Teen Club

  Tuesday, Wednesdays,
 and Thursdays
     4-5:30pm

 

  • Specifically designed for youth in grades 6-8th grades and focuses on issues facing middle school youth.
     

  • Activities Include, but not limited to:

    • Team building

    • Identity exploration

    • Community building 

    • Academic Tutoring
       

  • Dinner and snacks are provided.

                     Tuesday
           Tutoring  4-5:30pm

           Teen Club 5:30-7pm

  • Specifically designed for high school students allowing them the opportunity to grow as young leaders and prepare for their futures after Midtown and high school.

  • Focuses on:

    • Leadership

    • Tutoring

    • College Prep

    • ACT/SAT Prep

    • Resume Writing

    • College Visits

    • Job Hunting

    • Future Planning

    • Teen Talks.
